Ministry of Arts and Culture Engages with AHRIM on Cultural Tourism.
The Minister of Arts and Culture, Hon.Mahendra Gondeea, OSK, met with the new President of the Association of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs of Mauritius (AHRIM), Mr Stéphane Poupinel de Valencé.
Discussions focused on the development of cultural tourism and to discuss on areas of collaboration and public-private partnerships aimed at the rehabilitation, restoration and upgrading of national heritage sites as those are the key drivers to enhance the country’s tourism offering.
This exchange forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen synergies with institutional stakeholders and the private sector, in order to effectively promote Mauritius’s rich cultural and heritage assets while contributing to national economic development.
