Exhibition “Lesklavaz: Reparation and Restitution” Opens at Nelson Mandela Centre

The Nelson Mandela Centre for African Culture is hosting “Lesklavaz: Reparation and Restitution”, officially inaugurated by His Excellency the Vice-President of the Republic, Jean Yvan Robert Hungley, GCSK, alongside Honourable Mahendra Gondeea, OSK, Minister of Arts and Culture.

Featuring works by around thirty artists, the exhibition pays tribute to our ancestors, celebrates their courage and dignity, and transforms memory and history into striking artistic expression.

Open for one month, the exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to reflect on our past and draw inspiration for a more just and inclusive future.
