AI Video Contest 2026 Showcases the Creativity of Mauritian Youth
The Ministry of Arts and Culture, through the Mauritius Film Development Corporation (MFDC), successfully partnered with Mauritius Telecom for the AI Video Contest 2026, an initiative aimed at encouraging young Mauritians to explore the future of Mauritius through creativity, innovation and artificial intelligence.
The competition provided a platform for participants to showcase their talent and vision while discovering the potential of emerging technologies in storytelling and audiovisual creation. The quality of the entries reflected the ingenuity, imagination and digital skills of Mauritian youth.
