Young Talents Shine at Primary School Hindi Storytelling Competition
The creativity and confidence of young learners were celebrated during the finals and prize-giving ceremony of the Primary School Hindi Storytelling Competition, organised by the Hindi Speaking Union, under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts and Culture.
The Minister of Arts and Culture, Hon. Mahendra Gondeea, attended the event and had the pleasure of rewarding the finalists and winners of the competition, which brought together young participants from primary schools across Mauritius.
This year’s competition saw the participation of 100 pupils from different parts of the country, providing them with an opportunity to demonstrate their storytelling abilities while developing their confidence, creativity and command of the Hindi language.
Addressing the young participants, Hon. Gondeea expressed his admiration for the remarkable talent displayed throughout the competition. He emphasised the importance of encouraging children to express themselves and develop their artistic abilities from an early age.
